Universal Studios Florida's best shopping is on the Diagon Alley street, with a large Universal Studios Store at the gate for everything else.

Universal Studios Florida opened on June 7, 1990, and it is Universal Orlando's original park. Its themed areas sit around a central lagoon, and many of them have a shop of their own.

The most rewarding browsing is in Diagon Alley, where the shops along the street each have a specialty: jokes and novelties at Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, school uniforms and scarves at Madam Malkin's, and wizarding supplies at Wiseacre's. Minion Land has three shops of its own, including a bakery.

The Universal Studios Store is on the left as you enter, and Orlando Informer notes that each park's big front store stocks the most popular items from the smaller shops. If you see something early in the day, you can usually buy it on the way out.

Shop on the way out. The Universal Studios Store, on the left as you enter, carries the most popular items from the park's smaller shops, so you don't have to carry bags all day.

Staying at a Universal Orlando hotel? Most park stores can send purchases to your hotel for free, ready the next day at luggage services or the front desk. It isn't offered on your checkout day; ask about paid Park-to-Home Shipping instead.

Day guests should plan to carry their bags. Universal ended free package pick-up at the front of the parks for day guests in 2024.
