Islands of Adventure puts its biggest store right at the gate, and the shops in Hogsmeade are the ones people plan around.

Universal Islands of Adventure opened on May 28, 1999. The park is laid out as a ring of themed islands, and Port of Entry, the first one you walk through, is the main entrance and holds the park's biggest store.

Islands of Adventure Trading Company, on the left as you enter, carries merchandise from all over the park. Beyond it, each island has its own shops: a comic book shop and the Marvel Alterniverse Store on Marvel Super Hero Island, Jurassic Outfitters in the Jurassic Park area, and a bookshop in Seuss Landing.

In Hogsmeade, Honeydukes sells sweets, Dervish and Banges sells uniforms and brooms, and Filch's Emporium carries house flags and replica props.

Islands of Adventure Trading Company, on the left as you enter, stocks the most popular items from the park's smaller shops. Buy on your way out instead of carrying bags all day.

Need camera accessories? DeFoto's Expedition Photography in Port of Entry sells them, and it's also where you buy ride photos.

Universal Orlando hotel guests can have purchases sent to their hotel for free, ready the next day. It isn't offered on checkout day; ask the cashier about paid Park-to-Home Shipping instead.

Looking for comics? The comic book shop on Marvel Super Hero Island sells comics and graphic novels. Walk through the island toward Toon Lagoon and look on your left.
