Insider guide
Shopping Florida Mall.
The story
The Florida Mall is Central Florida's largest traditional mall, at 8001 S Orange Blossom Trail at Sand Lake Rd, near the airport. Macy's, Dillard's and JCPenney anchor roughly 250 shops and a Crayola Experience, organized into wings: Macy's, Apple, Plaza, Grand Court, Dining Pavilion, Dillard's and Dick's Sporting Goods.
International visitors come to stock up on Zara, Primark, Uniqlo and sneakers, and local families come for the kids' stops. The Plaza wing has the fast fashion, Grand Court has Uniqlo, beauty and Spanish labels, and the Macy's side has Apple, Sephora and Build-A-Bear.
What to Expect
The Plaza wing clusters Zara, Primark, H&M and Mango with American Girl, which sells 18-inch dolls and matching outfits. Tanishq, near Primark, has 22K gold and bridal jewelry. In Grand Court, Uniqlo is by the main entrance, LUSH sells bath bombs and shampoo bars, and Purificación García has Spanish leather handbags. Pop Mart, near Pandora by the main entrance, sells blind-box collectible figures. Apple, Sephora and lululemon sit together near the Macy's entrance, Build-A-Bear Workshop is in the Macy's wing, and Macy's itself has a Toys R Us shop on its second floor.
The Dining Pavilion wing has TOUS for bear-motif jewelry and Läderach for FrischSchoggi chocolate slabs sold by weight. Dick's Sporting Goods anchors its own wing by the Crayola Experience, which has a Crayola retail store next door. Juan Valdez Colombian Coffee has two counters, one in Grand Court and one in the Dillard's wing.
Best Time to Visit
Mall hours are Monday to Thursday 10am to 8pm, Friday and Saturday 10am to 9pm, and Sunday 11am to 7pm. Anchors and restaurants may differ. Friday and Saturday give you an extra hour in the evening.
If You Only Have an Hour
Use the valet at the Plaza entrance by Primark, then walk the Plaza wing: Primark, Zara and American Girl. Head to Grand Court for Uniqlo and LUSH, and end with chocolate at Läderach in the Dining Pavilion wing.
