When the Holidays Run
- Walt Disney World: November 13, 2026 to January 6, 2027.
- Universal Orlando: November 14, 2026 to January 3, 2027.
- Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll: November 11, 2026 to January 3, 2027.
- EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays: November 27 to December 30, 2026.
Holiday merchandise is in the shops before the decorations go up, and the best-selling items sell out well before Christmas.
Disney World’s Holiday Merchandise
Disney’s 2026 holiday line includes a Peppermint Pullover Hoodie, a Holiday Lights zip-up hoodie and cap, a Candy Cane ear headband and a Toy Soldier Mickey bag charm. There’s also a Pastel Holiday collection with its own Spirit Jersey. You’ll find these across the parks, with the biggest selection at World of Disney and Disney’s Days of Christmas at Disney Springs, which needs no park ticket.
In Magic Kingdom, Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Liberty Square sells ornaments all year. New ones in 2026 are a Jungle Cruise boat, a Dole Whip, a Mickey waffle, a pink Cinderella Castle, Spaceship Earth and Expedition Everest, at $22.99 to $34.99 each.
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Souvenirs
The party runs on 25 nights at Magic Kingdom, from November 8 to December 22, 7pm to midnight (you can enter from 4pm). Tickets are $189 to $229 plus tax, depending on the night.
The party has its own merchandise: a pullover, red and green T-shirts, an ear headband, an ornament and a magnet picture frame. It’s sold only at the Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. during the party, to guests with a party wristband, while it lasts. Shop early in the night, because sizes go fast.
Universal Orlando’s Holiday Shopping
Universal’s holiday lines this year include Spirit Jerseys for the Wizarding World, Grinchmas, Merry Minions and Shrek the Halls. There’s also a first Snoggletog collection for How to Train Your Dragon’s Isle of Berk at Epic Universe, with a light-up Toothless Loungefly and a Toothless Squishmallow. You’ll find them in the Universal Studios Stores, at CityWalk and on shopUniversal.com.
Epic Universe is decorated for the holidays for the first time, including Super Nintendo World. At Universal Studios Florida, the Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s runs nightly, and Islands of Adventure has Grinchmas and the Who-ville Tree Lot.
Holiday Park Hours
New Year’s Eve, Dec 31, 2026: Magic Kingdom 9am to midnight, EPCOT 9am to 1am, Hollywood Studios 9am to midnight, Animal Kingdom 8am to 6pm, and Disney Springs 10am to 11pm.
On party nights, Magic Kingdom closes to day guests at 6pm, so shop Main Street earlier in the day. Disney sets Christmas week hours late, so check the My Disney Experience app before you go. Universal hadn’t posted its Christmas or New Year’s hours as of early November.
The weeks around Christmas and the first week of January are among the busiest of the year at both resorts. Shop on weekday mornings, or at Disney Springs and the Character Warehouse outlets, which you can visit without a park ticket.
