What's Inside the Gates
Each of Walt Disney World's four theme parks has its own shops, and many of them sell things you won't find anywhere else on property: a Japanese department store in EPCOT, a Haunted Mansion shop in Magic Kingdom, a lightsaber workshop at Hollywood Studios. This guide covers the shops inside the park gates. You need a park ticket to reach them. If you only want to shop, Disney Springs is free to enter and has World of Disney, which Disney calls the largest Disney shop on property.
Below are the shops worth knowing in each park, where they are and what they sell. Stock changes often, so treat this as a map, not a promise.
The Shops Worth Knowing
Magic Kingdom
Main Street, U.S.A. has the biggest run of shops. Emporium (Main Street, U.S.A.) is the largest gift and souvenir shop in Magic Kingdom, with apparel, plush, pins, candy, MagicBand+ and seasonal merchandise. It is the easiest one-stop shop on your way out, but Main Street gets crowded at closing and after fireworks.
Main Street Confectionery (Main Street, U.S.A.) is the sweets shop: candy, caramel apples, crispy rice treats, fudge, cookies and cupcakes. Uptown Jewelers (Main Street, U.S.A.) carries Disney-themed jewelry, watches, handbags and PANDORA pieces, including Disney PANDORA designs.
In Liberty Square, Memento Mori is the Haunted Mansion shop, with clothing, home goods and collectibles inspired by the attraction. Also in Liberty Square, Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe sells ornaments, holiday decorations and personalized items all year.
EPCOT
EPCOT has the most varied shopping of the four parks, because the World Showcase pavilions sell goods from their countries. Mitsukoshi Department Store (Japan Pavilion) is the only Mitsukoshi store in North America, with traditional Japanese gifts, kimonos, handbags, anime merchandise, stationery, snacks and a sake bar with samples.
In the Germany Pavilion, Karamell-Küche sells caramel treats, candy apples and gift tins, and Der Teddybar is the toy shop. Italy's Il Bel Cristallo carries Murano glass, jewelry, handbags and fragrances. Norway's The Fjording has Dale of Norway sweaters, Helly Hansen outerwear, jewelry and troll figures. In the United Kingdom Pavilion, The Tea Caddy sells tea and table linens. France's Plume et Palette is the fragrance stop, and Canada's Trading Post has hand-carved wood gifts and Canadian maple syrup.
For general Disney merchandise, Creations Shop (World Celebration) carries apparel, gifts, housewares and MagicBands. Gateway Gifts, under Spaceship Earth, has EPCOT apparel and souvenirs.
Disney's Hollywood Studios
Several of the park's shops line Hollywood Boulevard. Mickey's of Hollywood (Hollywood Boulevard) carries apparel and souvenirs like sunglasses, mugs and hats. Celebrity 5 & 10 (Hollywood Boulevard) is the home store, with Disney-inspired kitchen items and décor, plus stationery, pins and snacks. At the main entrance, Crossroads of the World sells pins, Mickey ears and plush.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is where the park's shopping turns into an activity. At Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers, you build your own lightsaber; Disney recommends booking ahead, since spots are limited. Droid Depot lets you build a BB-series or R-series droid. Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities sells legacy lightsabers, Kyber crystals and holocrons, and Black Spire Outfitters has robes, tunics and belts. Outside the land, Tatooine Traders (Echo Lake) carries a wide range of Star Wars merchandise.
Disney's Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom has fewer shops than the other parks. Two of the general stores are on Discovery Island. Discovery Trading Company (Discovery Island) carries plush, apparel, home goods and snacks. Island Mercantile (Discovery Island) has apparel, pins and MagicBand+.
Windtraders (Pandora – The World of Avatar) is the park's most specific shop, with Pandora-themed merchandise ranging from cultural artifacts to animal toys to science kits. In Africa, Zuri's Sweets Shop sells homemade sweets, candy apples and coconut patties, and Mariya's Souvenirs, near Harambe Theater, carries apparel, Mickey ears, plush and pins. Mombasa Marketplace has Africa-inspired gifts and apparel.
Carrying, Storing and Shipping
Disney used to send in-park purchases to the front of the park or to your Disney resort hotel. In answers on Disney's planDisney site, panelists have said both Resort Hotel Delivery and Souvenir Pick-Up are no longer offered, and have suggested two workarounds: rent a locker, which you'll usually find near the park entrances, or ask a merchandise cast member to mail items home for a small fee. Services change, so ask at the register before you buy something bulky.
Tip: Shop at the end of the day, not the start, so you aren't carrying bags around the park. In Magic Kingdom, though, Main Street gets busy at closing, so don't leave it to the last minute.
Tickets and the No-Ticket Option
You need a theme park ticket to enter any of the four parks. Disney's planDisney panel says that's true no matter why you're going, and there is no shopping-only pass.
If you want Disney merchandise without a ticket, go to Disney Springs, which is free to enter and home to World of Disney. Every Disney resort hotel also has a shop with Disney items and merchandise specific to that resort, and the Disney Skyliner connects to Disney's Riviera Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort, where there is more shopping.
