Insider guide
Shopping College Park.
The story
College Park is a bungalow neighborhood just northwest of downtown. Its Main Street is Edgewater Drive, known as the Drive, and the shopping runs from about the 1200 block north to the 2800 block, with a garden center farther up at 3443.
Gift shops, a record store, boutiques and a long-running bike shop mix with cafes and wine bars. It suits a relaxed errand-and-lunch outing rather than a full shopping day.
What to Expect
Heading north, Ritzy Rags (1833) is a wig and theatrical makeup shop run by entertainer Leigh Shannon. Orange Cycle (2204), open since 1975, is a bike shop of about 10,000 square feet known for low-pressure service. Bijou's Boutique (2501) is a local boutique, and Foundation Records (2529) sells vinyl along with vintage T-shirts. Good Crowd (2812), voted Best Gift Store in Orlando Weekly's 2026 readers' poll, is the stop for locally minded presents. At the north end, Apenberry's Gardens (3443) sells organic plants and flowers on 1.5 acres.
Best Time to Visit
No shop on the Drive posted hours on the pages checked, so call ahead. The street fills with vendors for Dancing on the Drive in April, JazzFest in November and Holiday on the Drive in December. Digress Wine serves food Wednesday through Saturday.
If You Only Have an Hour

Keep exploring
If you liked this block of the city, try these next.
Mills 50
The district named for the crossing of Mills Ave and Colonial Dr (SR 50), just north of downtown, home to one of Florida's largest Vietnamese communities. Come for Asian grocers, a record shop, thrift and small menswear, then stay for the Michelin-recognized restaurants.
This week
Audubon Park
A locally owned Main Street district between Winter Park, Leu Gardens and downtown, built around the East End Market food hall and a short run of record, vintage and garden shops on Corrine Drive. It suits food-first browsing and anyone hunting vinyl, vintage or Florida-made gifts.
This week
Downtown
Orlando's central business district around Lake Eola, with Church St and Orange Ave on the west and the brick streets of Thornton Park on the east side of the lake. Retail is thin; the draws are the Sunday farmers market, galleries and a handful of specialty shops. Up Orange Avenue, Ivanhoe Village on the shore of Lake Ivanhoe adds antique, vintage and import shops between bars and restaurants.
